Memorial Biography

Laszlo Michael Fodor was born in Dorog, Hungary in 1954 and immigrated to the United States in 1956 under Operation Safe Haven with his parents and brother. He was the oldest of three children. His legacy includes a loving wife, children, grandchildren, and a soon to be born great grandson.

His hobbies included running, gymnastics, music and dancing, skydiving, spending time with his family, playing Risk and cribbage, and studying scripture. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He helped people find their dream homes with Crye-Leike realty.

Laszlo is survived by his wife of 37 years, Melinda; his sister, Margaret Fodor, his children, Renee Brown (Rony Brown), Melissa Cason (Eric Cason), Laszlo Michael Fodor Jr. (Morgan East), Renee Torrence (Josh Thompson) Elizabeth Bly (Johnathan Bly), Steven Fodor, and Abigail Besida (Eric Besida); grandchildren Elissa Bernardino (Karlo Bernardino), Eric Cason Jr, Remy Brown, Uriah Bly, Ava Bly, Aylan Brown, and Paxton Bly; a soon to be born great grandchild; and nephews Joey Pabon, Frank Fodor, and Mathias Fodor.

He was preceded in death by his father Laszlo, his mother Margaret, and his brother Steve Fodor.

Arrangements are with Dickson Funeral Home. There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 29th from 2-4pm, with a service immediately following. On Friday, July 30th at 9am there will a graveside service at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery located at 7931 McCrory Lane Nashville, TN
